EnergyCAP, Inc.’s nonprofit organization, Global Capacity, is providing 41 high school scholarships for extremely poor children in Rwanda, Africa. Unfortunately, Global Capacity has encountered two hardships.
First, an electrical fire started in the home of our country director Yvonne Parr. Her family of 14 adopted children–yes 14!–and husband Les, must now move to a different home. Finding a house large enough has been difficult!
Second, Jeanette, one of our students who was born with HIV and became pregnant in 2012, has been hospitalized due to the HIV virus. According to her doctors, it would require a miracle to save her. She and her son, Matthew Peter, also live with the Parrs.
In order to help with relocation and medical costs, Global Capacity (GC) is trying to raise $10,000. Interested donors can learn more on the GC blog or Facebook page or from GC Director Matthew Heinz at Matthew.Heinz@EnergyCAP.com.
