Trade show season is approaching rapidly, and EnergyCAP will be an active participant. We have three major industry shows on our schedule, and we encourage you to visit with us at one or more of the venues:
The theme for this year’s Energy Exchange conference is “Be Efficient and Resilient,” and conference sessions seek to “catalyze federal investments in energy and water efficiency measures” through public and private partnerships. The conference will be held August 20–22 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, CO.
In addition to its extensive 13-track training schedule, Energy Exchange also offers a trade show that kicks off with a reception the evening of Monday, August 19 (5:30-7:30pm), and continues Tuesday (9:30am-7:00pm) and Wednesday (9:30am–4:00pm). We’ll be there—at Booth #245—to demonstrate why federal agencies, including military bases, national laboratories, museums, and others, rely on EnergyCAP as the foundation of their energy management program.
Christiana Figueres, former Executive Secretary of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, will be the opening session speaker at AEE’s World Energy Conference, which will take place September 25–27 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. The three-day conference will feature more than 260 individual speakers across a 14-track schedule.
The exhibit floor will be open 10:00am–4:00pm Wednesday, September 25, and 10:00am–2:00pm Thursday. Expo attendance is free, and we’ll be on hand in Booth #718. Steve Heinz, Founder & CEO of EnergyCAP, Inc., will present “Best Practices in Energy Information Management, Chargebacks and Internal Billings for Campuses” during a Thursday poster session. Steve will discuss the challenges, value streams, and best practices in energy information management for campus-type organizations.
Penn State is the host of this year’s Big Ten & Friends Mechanical & Energy Conference at its University Park campus. The conference will take place October 6–9, and EnergyCAP, Inc. is happy to be a sponsor of what, for us, is a local event. You’ll find us at Booth #13.
Representatives from colleges and universities across North America are expected to attend the Big Ten & Friends conference, which focuses “on the unique needs of academic campuses.” Andrew Gutberlet, Penn State’s Manager of Engineering Services, stated that the conference seeks to help campus operations leaders “collaborate with each other to learn and share information about reducing energy use and maintaining and improving building systems.”
We encourage you to attend at least one of the conferences, and when you do, please visit us. We will appreciate the opportunity to meet you, learn more about your utility bill and energy management needs, and discuss how EnergyCAP can empower you to do more with your organization’s energy information. Please contact us now to schedule a time to meet with one of our representatives.
If you’re already using EnergyCAP, please stop by to say “Hello” and tell us how EnergyCAP has helped your organization conserve energy and operate more efficiently.
