EnergyCAP Eco Champion Awards 2024

Drumroll, please…the 2024 EnergyCAP Eco Champion Awards are back! It’s time to celebrate your achievements in energy management, innovations in sustainability, and planet-saving strategies.

How it works

If you or someone you know has been winning at the sustainability game, this is the time to shine. We’re talking about the teams and individuals you know who’ve gone above and beyond to save energy, innovate, and make the planet proud. Nominate yourself or someone you know by March 21, 2025 to win a free lifetime pass to Catalyst—EnergyCAP’s annual user conference! Winners will be announced April of 2025.

When filling out the form, please include as much relevant data as possible to support your award nomination. Some examples may include:

• links to EnergyCAP dashboards or reports
• building benchmarking metrics
• EUI data
• M&V data
• articles written about your programs and initiatives
• details regarding other awards won for your achievements

Although not all categories require quantitative data, we encourage you to submit as much supporting information as possible to help our judges make informed decisions. *Winners for awards marked with an asterisk will be chosen based on highest quantitative data value.

We’ve got an award for every type of eco champ:

🏢 Most Energy Efficient Building*
We’re honoring the building that sets the gold standard in energy efficiency. If your building benchmarking data highlights measurable improvements and showcases a commitment to smarter energy use in 2024, we want to hear about it!

🌍 Most Sustainable Organization*
For the visionaries driving big sustainability wins, like slashing energy consumption and achieving net-zero building operations. This is for an organization who has the data to prove that they’ve made significant strides in 2024 to improve overall sustainability.

💰 Most Energy Costs Avoided*
Whether at the building, building group, or organizational level, this honor recognizes measurable achievements in avoiding energy costs during 2024. Share your data-driven story of impact, highlighting the methods and results that showcase your leadership in cost-effective energy management.

🔺The Trifecta Award
For an EnergyCAP customer who utilizes all three EnergyCAP solutions: UtilityManagement, SmartAnalytics, and CarbonHub. We’re looking for an outstanding success story of how the suite of EnergyCAP solutions has impacted your energy and sustainability initiatives.

⚡ Innovation and Impact Award
Recognizing creative and groundbreaking energy and sustainability projects from 2024. Whether it’s an inventive energy-saving strategy or a community-focused sustainability initiative, this award celebrates efforts that are driving change that make a lasting impact. Projects may or may not include EnergyCAP software.

📈 Most Improved Energy Performance*
Making leaps and bounds in energy efficiency? If your 2024 data reveals significant improvements and impactful results, it’s time to showcase the success that sets you apart as a true leader in energy performance!

📈 Best Dashboard
Show off that EnergyCAP dashboard! This award celebrates the most impactful and innovative dashboards—whether public-facing or internal—that tell a compelling energy and sustainability story. Share how your dashboard empowers your team, streamlines your work, and drives smarter decisions. From visualizing data to inspiring action, let us see how your dashboard makes a difference!
