Create new M&V projects using IPMVP Option B or Option C methodologies

IPMVP Option B measures and calculates the impact of an individual project or improvement, like new lighting in a specific area. Measuring energy use before and after the change, along with things like weather conditions, helps you see the exact savings from that specific upgrade.

IPMVP Option C looks at an entire building’s energy use after multiple, systemic improvements have been made throughout the facility. This method compares energy use before and after the changes, and is used when you’ve made several changes, or if you don’t have detailed data for specific areas. This shows the overall impact of all your energy-saving efforts.
