EnergyCAP Up and Running at Texas State

Thanks to an enthusiastic and dedicated energy management team, EnergyCAP energy management software is up and running at Texas State University just in time to add value to a new submetering project.

According to Brittany McCullar, utility analyst for Texas State, the software will track 60 buildings and 500 meters. Many buildings have been recently sub-metered for chill water, steam and electricity in order for the software to be able to verify use at each location. McCullar noted that costs associated with EnergyCAP implementation and licensing will be offset by considerable annual savings achieved through integration across their utilities and accounting departments. Just by eliminating double data entry, the University will save 480 hours of labor every year.
